The Cavalletto Family Coat of Arms

On the wall of the village church in Vesignano is a painting of the family crest:

Cavalletto Family Crest, Vesignano

In heraldic terms, one might describe the arms as: Parted per fess, above argent with a white horse passant, below or, three bendlets sinister vert.

(Or to translate to more conventional terms: divided horizontally, the top white with a white horse walking, the bottom yellow with three diagonal green stripes.)

The motto shown above the shield, “Parens Legibvs“, is Latin for “law abiding.”
